There is some stupid philosophy out there that claims that all things happen in threes. I don’t know if it is tied to the trinity in christianity or what, but it is a bunch of junk, but I have 3 sad demises, ha, actually 4, but I will just talk about 3 at this time.
The end of Umar Lee’s blog — please Umar say it aint so. Umar Lee has laid a blueprint that I will try to follow and bring my own flavor to, hopefully he will be back, or maybe writing articles for Muslim Matters or Newsweek or something. Brothers future is bright.
Ipod Life Support — I don’t know what happened but it seems to be dead. I have plugged it in and it wont charge, left it plugged in for 24 hours nothing, tried to unfreeze it, smack it around.. it is gone… Al humduulilah, I don’t need to carry 30 gigs of lectures with me anyways and it times it seemed that it was taking up more time then it is worth, but I will probably try to get it fixed, only had it for a little over a year and it should still be working. I would hate for it to be like $20 away from being back.
Fed Ex aka Dorthy — the fish made it through the whole month, looked real healthy when we made it back, and died the next day. From Allah we come and to him we will return. We bought Fed with 4 other fish who died quickly, I was determined that when fed went that was the last fish, that was over a year ago. In the meantime, my mother’s cat died, my father’s cat died, my barber’s dog died, and they were all in good health and I never expected the fish to out last them. It just showed us that Allah takes when he wills and we can not call them.
